Jos Buttler loses his bat while batting against Haris Rauf (x.com)
We often see Rishabh Pant lose his bat whenever he is in action in the middle of the pitch. And to make a club look elite, Jos Buttler joined him on Saturday when England took on Pakistan at Edgbaston during the second T20I of the four-match series.
Although it would not have happened had Buttler, batting on 84 off 51 balls, did not go too hard against Haris Rauf, who is known for being one of the fastest bowlers around.
Interestingly, it was an off-pace delivery from Rauf, which led Butter to lose his grip of the bat. The Englishman went for a lofted drive while backing away, but the mistimed shot led him to lose the bat after it connected with the ball.
Placed at long on, Shadab Khan made no mistake, as he charged from the boundary line, to complete an excellent catch near the boundary line. Unsurprisingly, Buttler was upset after missing out on a well-deserved century on his return to international cricket.

Meanwhile, riding on Buttler's heroics, England closed on 183/7, while Pakistan, in reply, lost flamboyant Mohammad Rizwan for a three-ball duck.
