In the ongoing contest between the two teams, Ecclestone showed her all-round skills, first with the bat, and then with the ball. The England all-rounder scored a quick-fire 15-ball 27 to steer her side to a decent 113/7.

Her side, Manchester Originals needed something special to win this contest, and the game-changing wicket came from Ecclestone, whe she trapped the dangerous Hayley Matthews for just 1.

She turned into Ravindra Jadeja and bowled an arm ball just like him as Matthews failed to get a bat on it. The original deicison from the on-field umpire was not out, but the English player immediately reviewed it and the decision was overturned.

Talking about the match, both Originals and Fire are playing their first game of the tournament. Manchester Originals looked sloppy with the bat and were even struggling to go beyond the 100-run mark, before Ecclestone wore the magic hat and hit a couple of massive sixes to give their side something to cheer about.
