Surrey's keeper, Josh Blake, made a comical mess of a simple run-out chance as he allowed the Yorkshire batters, Shan Masood and Will Luxton to get away for free.

Run-out chances missed has been seen in numerous cricket games, but in the ongoing ODI Cup match between Yorkshire and Surrey, keeper Josh Blake was frozen in time as he missed a simple chance to rundown both Shan Masood and Luxton.

Surrey keeper gives lifeline to Shan Masood

The incident occurred when Masood cuts a Conor McKerr length delivery towards the deep point region and wanted a second run. 

His partner, too, responded for the second, but mid-way through the run, Masood backed out and his partner, Luxton slipped, giving away the keeper an open chance to run them down.

But to everyone's surprise, Blake, the Surrey keeper threw the ball towards the non strikers end, which was the end where Masood was standing. The Yorkshire captain got ample time to get back into his crease, and it also allowed time for Luxton to get his composure back, as he too, got back in the crease.
