The Hundred 2024 has started off with a bang, and in the third Women's match of the season between Manchester Originals and Welsh Fire saw Ecclestone-led unit scoring 113 after electing to bat first. It was Ecclestone herself who scored 27 off just 15 balls to take her team to a competitive total, but Beth Mooney at the top of the order could just score 19 off 24 balls.

Her knock finally came to an end on the 58th ball when she failed to launch a fuller delivery from Georgia Davis down the track. She mistimed the ball completely though, and the ball went high in the air towards long off where Shabnim Ismail took a fine catch near the boundary line with her usual swagger.

Shabnim Ismail was brilliant with the ball too, as she gave away just 13 runs in her 20 balls which included 13 dot balls as well. She did not take any wicket, but the pressure he build, played a big role in helping other Welsh Fire bowlers take wickets. Shabnim Ismail played for Mumbai Indians in WPL 2024, and was pretty impressive with her raw pace.
