Hardik Pandya and India's fielding coach T Dilip were all visibly annoyed at Axar Patel, who was India's vice-captain in the T20I series against England. During the on-going India versus England second ODI match, Axar dropped one of the most easiest catches ever as Phil Salt, the six-hitting maniac, received a lifeline.
Both Phil Salt and Ben Duckett have once against built a strong opening partnership for England and this wicket could have provided India with a much-needed early breakthrough. However, it seemed as if fate had other plans for the Men In Blue.
Axar Drops A Sitter
In the 6th over, Hardik Pandya bowled a short length delivery into the wicket outside off. Salt hopped on and looked to use the pace of the ball against it and send it over the third man fence. He hit it square and found Axar Patel stationed at the deep backward point who settled underneath it. Axar, even got his hands ready however he unfortunately dropped a dolly.
Hardik Pandya fell down on his knees as he looked disappointed that the catch had not been made. The camera also showed T Dilip who looked slightly irritated in the frame.

Meanwhile, at the time of writing, India just made a breakthrough as debutant Varun Chakravarthy removed Phil Salt. But things are still far from India's favour as England is at 85/1 and the home-team would be aiming to pick up wickets at regular intervals.
