There have been numerous moments on the cricket field when batters have given their everything to reach the crease safely and still got run out, while in some cases, batters don't even try to complete the run.

One of the moments that is doing the rounds on social media is from the Pakistan Super League (PSL), where the batter ran so casually that he couldn't make the crease for a second run despite two runs being available.

This particular moment is from the 2021 edition of the PSL when Quetta Gladiators were taking on Peshawar Zalmi at Abu Dhabi's Sheikh Zayed Stadium in match 19.

Batting first, Peshawar were 190 for four after 19.4 overs when Rovman Powell played a shot down the ground, asking for a double, his batting partner Sherefane Rutherford responded well initially as he completed the single.

However, a good throw from long-off Jake Weatherald saw Rutherford returning back to the pavilion as the West Indian ran way too casually for the second run, falling short of the crease by a considerable margin.

Coming back to the game, Peshawar ended up on 197, and in reply, Quetta were not even close as they could only manage 136 after the completion of their 20 overs.
