In a clinical display of spin bowling, veteran Indian cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin completed a spectacular five-wicket haul in the ongoing Ranchi Test against England. 

Ashwin, who rattled the visitors with his wily variations, scalped James Anderson as his fifth victim, as Dhruv Jurel took a stunning catch behind the stumps. 

The incident occurred in the 54th over when Indian captain Rohit Sharma turned up to Ashwin in pursuit of the final English wicket. The move proved to be a masterstroke, with the veteran spinner getting rid of Anderson on the fifth delivery. 

It was a tossed-up delivery that came into Anderson after pitching around the off stump. The talismanic English seamer attempted an audacious reverse-sweep shot only to edge the ball behind the stumps. 

Although the Indian players appealed for an LBW, Indian keeper Dhruv Jurel showed his presence of mind by diving towards his right and holding on to a magnificent catch. 

His stunning grab brought an end to England's second innings, as they were bowled out for a paltry 145-run total. The visitors must be disappointed with their batters, most of whom gifted their wickets by playing rash shots. 

Chasing 192, India were four for no loss as of writing, with Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal unbeaten in the middle.
