In a spectacular turn of events at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, the ongoing IPL 2024 opener between CSK and RCB witnessed a pivotal moment as Glenn Maxwell fell victim to Deepak Chahar's cunning bowling tactics. The change of ends for Chahar orchestrated by the astute captaincy of Ruturaj Gaikwad proved to be a masterstroke for the Men in Yellow.

At the 5.3-over mark, with anticipation mounting after already losing two crucial wickets, Chahar delivered a delivery of precision and guile to Maxwell. The ball pitched on a good length around the off-stump line, enticing Maxwell into a false shot. With a subtle inward movement, Chahar deceived the batsman, leaving him no choice but to tentatively follow the line of the ball.

However, Maxwell's attempt proved futile as he could only manage to nick the ball with the outer edge of his bat. The ball sailed towards the right of the wicket-keeper, Dhoni, who, with his characteristic precision, seized the opportunity and caught the ball cleanly.
