[Watch] De Kock Slams An Elegant 100 Against The Warriors In CPL 2024

The Barbados Royals are taking on the Guyana Amazon Warriors in the 16th match of the CPL 2024. The match is being played at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados.

Winning the toss, the Warriors elected to put the Royals to bat first. Kadeem Alleyne, who took the field alongside de Kock, set the stage on fire with a rapid 22 runs off just nine deliveries, providing the Royals with a strong start.

After Alleyne's departure, de Kock continued to hold the innings from one end and propelled his team towards a formidable total. In the initial stages, de Kock looked to rotate the strike and get into his groove. But as he settled down, he started to find the boundaries. 

Even though the other end did not contribute much, de Kock was not deterred from his path. He continued to bat with great efficiency and dexterity, hitting the bowlers to all ends of the park. De Kock's prowess in the middle was not limited to a particular bowler or bowling type. 

De Kock's 100 powered the Royals to a 200 plus total

On the fifth delivery of the 17th over, De Kock reached his 100 in this innings with a single. It was good length delivery at the good length region of the off-stump line. De Kock punched the ball towards long-off for a single and reached his century.  This is his seventh century in this format of the game, and it is the second hundred overall in CPL 2024. The other hundred belongs to Evin Lewis of the St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots.

De Kocks innings came to an end in the last over of the innings after he had scored 115 runs off 68 deliveries. His innings was decorated with eight sixes and nine maximums.
