[Watch] Josh Inglis 'Hammers' Monstrous Six To Rattle Van Beek

Australian batters are having a dream batting practice against the Netherlands in the ongoing World Cup game in Delhi.

Batting first, they have made full use of the placid batting conditions and have taken the Dutch attack to the cleaners. The carnage was started by David Warner, who played some mesmerising strokes to reach his second hundred of World Cup 2023.

He was amply supported by Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne as the Aussies toyed with a toothless attack that lacked the cutting edge. The Aussie batters played some brilliant shots throughout the course of their innings, but the highlight was Josh Inglis' monstrous six against Logan van Beek.

The brilliant stroke occurred in the 38th over, when the Dutch bowler banged it short, but Inglis was up for the task. He stayed back and waited for the bouncer. Once Inglis got into a good position, he clobbered it well over the deep mid-wicket region as the Netherlands were rattled with the shot.

The Aussie keeper-batter couldn't do more damage as he was dismissed for a 12-ball 14. Talking about the contest, Australia will need to win the match to strengthen their position for a top-4 finish.
