The Oval Invincibles Women are taking on the London Spirit Women in the Eliminator of The Women's Hundred 2024. This game is being played at the Kennington Oval in London, United Kingdom.

The London Spirit won the toss and opted to field first in the match. Charlie Dean gave the first blow to the Invincibles when she dismissed Paige Scholfield on the second delivery of the third set in the innings. The Invincibles soon lost their skipper, Lauren Winfield-Hill in the fifth set. 

After this, Alice Capsey and Marizanne Kapp stitched partenrship of 45 runs and stabilises the ship for the Invincibles. However, after this they suffered another collapse, where they lost seven wickets for 31 runs and hence could not get a good finish. 

Charlie Dean takes a stunning catch

Ryana MacDonald-Gay was the eighth wicket of the innings. She was dimissed by Eva Gray, however, a lot of the credit for the dismissal should be given to the bowler, Charlie Dean. The English medium-pacer bowled a good length delivery around the off and middle stump. MacDonald-Gay cleared her foot and swung across the line of the delivery to play the ball in the air to wide long-on. Dean who was staioned in the deep ran to her right and glided to take the stunning catch. 

The Invincibles set a target of 114 for the Spirit. At the time of writing, the Oval Invincibles stationed at 68/2 from 60 balls.
