Kagiso Rabada is one of the best Test bowlers at the moment and he showed his class in the second innings of the first Test against Pakistan on Friday. On a day which turned out to be a paradise for the pacers, Rabada showed his class and bamboozled Saim Ayub with a ripper.

South Africa posted 301 in their first innings and in reply, Pakistan had a mountain to climb. However, just like the first innings, the opening pair of Saim and Shan Masood gave a solid start, adding 49 runs before disaster struck in the form of Rabada.

The pitch assisted the seamers and the Proteas bowler took advantage of it. He bowled a length ball which threatened to come back in with the angle and then moved away just a touch to beat the outside-edge as it castled the stumps. Saim was nowhere near the pitch of the ball as Kagiso Rabada beat him with a ripper to break the opening stand.

South Africa's lower order frustrate Pakistan bowlers

At one stage, Pakistan had the upper hand as they had dismissed 9 batters for 254 runs. However, the last wicket stand frustrated the visitors and the assault was led by debutant Corbin Bosch, who picked up 4 wickets in the first innings and scored valuable 81 runs.

He missed out on a deserved Test ton on debut, and apart from Bosch, opener Aiden Markram contributed with crucial 89 as South Africa took a healthy lead and have already dismissed Ayub to get the early inroad in the contest.
