Pakistan are off to a winning start in the ODI series after the loss in the shortest format and it was courtesy an all-round performance from Salman Ali Agha. The all-rounder picked four wickets with the ball and then played a brilliant unbeaten knock of 82 under pressure to take his side over the line.
Salman Ali Agha also hit the winning boundary to take his side over the line on the third ball of the final over and it was a joyous moment in the Pakistan dressing room who have started a new era under Mohammed Rizwan. They won the ODI series against Australia and Zimbabwe recently and now have notched up another win against South Africa to keep their good run in the format going.

Talking about the winning moment, it was a full delivery on off from Marco Jansen and Salman Ali Agha slammed it down the ground to end the innings in style. It brought back memories of famous MS Dhoni finishes in the last over and it was followed by some passionate high-fives in Pakistan dressing room which included seniors like Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam.
Apart from Salman Ali Agha, Saim Ayub also scored a stunning century at the top of the order on a difficult pitch to help Pakistan chase down a tricky target of 240 in Paarl. Klaasen was the only one who displayed fight in the South African batting line-up and the home team now need to win the second game in Cape Town to level the series.
