India got off to a flying start against Pakistan on Sunday (September 10) in the third match of the Super Four round in the ongoing Asia Cup. Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill set the platform for the Men in Blue, having aggregated 121 runs in 16.3 overs without any damage before both of them lost their wickets in successive overs.

There is always a serious atmosphere on the field when two of the greatest rivals of the game are in action. The incident that occurred during the 24th over, however, did not match the trend, and Babar Azam, the world's No. 1 ODI batsman, was involved in it.

Haris was more than confident as soon as the ball hit KL Rahul’s pads. He went towards Mohammad Rizwan, saying ‘Out hai (it was out)’ while raising his finger. However, Babar was not too convinced, as he felt the ball would have missed the stumps because of the height.

Haris, however, was not pleased with Babar's assumption. Then the Pakistan captain made a gesture that left everyone smiling. Several times, he pointed at his thigh, telling Rauf the ball would have missed the stumps anyway.

The timer stopped after a while, and the replay showed Babar was right, and Pakistan would have lost their final review if they were convinced with Haris’ overconfidence.

Meanwhile, the match has been stopped after a heavy shower began at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. India, at the time of the interruption, reached 147/2 in 24.1 overs, with Rahul and Virat Kohli batting in the middle, on 17 and 8 respectively.
