Another match, another disappointment! Babar Azam’s poor form continues as he fails to score big in the Pakistan vs. New Zealand Tri-Nation Series final at the National Stadium, Karachi, on February 14, Friday.

Once known as Pakistan’s top batter, Babar has been struggling to regain his touch. In this crucial match, he could only manage 29 runs off 34 balls before getting out.

The key moment came in the 12th over when New Zealand’s Nathan Smith dismissed him in his very first over. Babar tried to drive a good-length ball straight down the ground but ended up chipping it back to the bowler, who took a sharp catch.

The Karachi crowd fell silent as their star batter walked back to the pavilion. Yet again, he failed to convert a decent start into a big score, leaving Pakistan in trouble. This was Pakistan’s third wicket, making things even more difficult for them.

Pakistan Lose Quick Wickets Against NZ

Earlier in the match, Pakistan won the toss and opted to bat first, but things didn’t go as planned. New Zealand struck early, dismissing Fakhar Zaman for 10 runs. Saud Shakeel followed soon after, falling to Michael Bracewell for just 8 runs off 14 balls.

At the time of writing, Pakistan are struggling at 61/3 in 14 overs, with Mohammad Rizwan and Salman Ali Agha at the crease, trying to build the innings.
