[Watch] Iftikhar Ahmed Left Stunned By Superb Diving Catch From Heinrich Klaasen

Iftikhar Ahmed is one of those rare talents in Pakistan's batting line-up who can hit from the ball one and is crucial for Pakistan's success on flat batting decks in India. In the World Cup 2023, he has played some handy cameos and was promoted up the order ahead of Saud Shakeel. However, just when he was looking to explode, he was outfoxed by a lovely loopy delivery from Tabraiz Shamsi, bringing an end to a knock that promised so much till the time it lasted. 

Talking about the wicket, it was the first delivery of the 26th over. Shamsi very cleverly tossed it up on middle, inviting Iftikhar Ahmed to go for a big shot. However, it was a googly from Shamsi which turned away from the batter. Ahmed accepted the invitation and charged down the track to launch it into the stands. However, as the ball turned away, he failed to get proper connection and the ball went high in the air towards long off.

Heinrich Klaasen at long on ran all the way towards long off, 32 metres to be precise and dived to his left to take a fantastic catch. The wicket reduced Pakistan to 129-4 and Pakistan batters now need to show better application to get out of this rut.
