When Babar Azam is on song, hardly anyone touches his class and it was proven during the 3rd ODI between Australia and Pakistan as the visitors came back from 0-1 down to clinch the series. Interestingly, this was Pakistan's first ODI series win in Australia since 2002.

The onus of the series win should be given to the Pakistan bowlers who ran riot and didn't allow the Aussie batters to score even a single individual fifty-plus scores throughout the tour. Coming into the third ODI, the series was levelled at 1:1, but the Australian side had rested all their senior players and it allowed the visitors to sneak in a brilliant win.

Despite all the mayhem caused by the Pakistan bowlers, the highlight of the day was Babar's exquisite on-drive to mesmerise the fans in Perth. Lance Morris bowled a fuller length ball angling into Babar who was ready for the shot. The former skipper showed the full face of the willow and caressed it past the diving mid-on fielder as the fans and commentators applauded the greatness.

Pakistan seal historic series win

After a heartbreaking loss in the first ODI, Pakistan bounced back in style to clinch the series. They won the second ODI, rather convincingly, courtesy of a brilliant fifer from Haris Rauf.

Australian team rested all the Test bound players for the third ODI, and Pakistan took full advantage of it as they once again decimated the hosts and their bowlers did the job to perfection as the visitors won the match by 8 wickets, with Babar remaining unbeaten at 28.
