Bowlers' incredible performance has led Pakistan to a commanding position in their ongoing World Cup match against Bangladesh at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Besides Mahmudullah, skipper Shakib Al Hasan was the solitary batter from Bangladesh to put up a fight against the rampant Pakistani bowling unit. However, Haris Rauf got rid of the legendary all-rounder to swing the game into Pakistan's favour.

The incident occurred in the 40th over when Babar Azam turned up to his trump card Haris Rauf to break the budding partnership between Shakib Al Hasan and Mehidy Hasan Miraz.

The move paid rich dividends, as the ace speedster dismissed Shakib, who looked all set for a well-deserved half century.

It was a short ball from around the wicket as Shakib went for a pull shot. However, he timed it poorly, with the ball gobbling up in the air for a long time. Agha Salman, playing his first match of the tournament, took a simple catch to put an end to his long stay in the middle.

As of writing, the Tigers are struggling to get a fitting finish to their innings, placed at 198 for seven, with Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Taskin Ahmed unbeaten in the middle.
