Another innings and another Test failure for Babar Azam on home soil. After performing exceedingly well in the Test series Vs South Africa, expectations were high from the Pakistan batter, but he disappointed, not once, but twice as he was dismissed for another low score in the Multan Test match Vs West Indies.

The Test match is heading towards a Pakistan win as their second innings started on Day 2. On a wicket which is challenging for the batters, the spin bowlers have enjoyed their stay at the crease, as Sajid Khan and Noman Ali bundled out the Windies for a paltry 137.

How Babar got trapped

In reply, Babar Azam and Pakistan were expected to produce a good show with the bat, however, the star player failed to deliver once again and was knocked over for 5 off 11 balls. The Pakistan openers, Shan Masood and Mohammad Huraira added 67 runs for the first wicket, and the downfall brought in Babar at the crease, who looked scratchy.

West Indian spinner, Jomel Warrican bowled an arm ball, as Babar played for the wrong line and was expecting the ball to turn away. However, the delivery came in with the arm and copped a blow on the front leg as the umpire raised his finger. He was left shell-shocked as this was his twin failure in the match.

Pakistan in driving seat on Day 2

Pakistan are 102/2 in their second innings and lead by 195 runs at the moment. Captain Shan Masood is leading the charge as he is batting at 50 off 61 and is playing a counter-attacking knock.

In the West Indian innings, the spin duo of Sajid Khan and Noman Ali ran riot and shared 9 wickets amongst them as the Windies got knocked over for 137, in reply to Pakistan's 230 in the first innings.
