Ayush Badoni came into limelight in the 2022 season with some fantastic hitting under pressure but had a mediocre 2023 season. He did not start 2024 brightly as well, but in the 26th match of the season, he has delivered against DC with a brilliant 55 off 35 balls.

Ayush Badoni came out to bat in the 10th over after the wicket of KL Rahul, and initially took some time to get going. He absorbed the pressure quite well, and though LSG were reduced to 94-7 in the 13th over, Badoni took the bowlers on and smashed some lusty blows.

He hit five fours and a six in his knock and the six came on the first delivery of the 18th over when Khaleel Ahmed bowled a shortish delivery. It stood up nicely for Badoni and he pulled it powerfully over deep mid-wicket for a six.

Arshad Khan also gave Badoni a great company and scored important 20 runs as the duo put together an unbeaten stand of 73 to frustrate Rishabh Pant and company infront of a packed Ekana Stadium at Lucknow.
