The Northern Superchargers women made a brilliant come back against the Trent Rockets women in the fourth match of the Women's Hundred 2024. The Trent Rockets made a great start in the game at the Headingley in Leeds. 

The Rockets won the toss and decided to bat first in the match. Grace Scrivens and Bryony Smith gave a solid start to the Rockets as they stitched a 47-run partnership of just 33 deliveries. 


Annabel Sutherland led the comeback for the Northern Superchargers

The stage was set for the Rockets to solidify the foundation they had and post a total that could have been out of reach for the Superchargers. However, the Hollie Armitage-led team made a brilliant comeback. Annabel Sutherland led the comeback for the Superchargers with a brilliant spell. 


The Aussie all-rounder picked up the wickets of the two openers, who were looking solid in the middle. This slowed down the progress of the Rockets. After, this Sutherland added to her tally as she picked up the wicket of Katie George. 

Sutherland bowled a brilliantly efficiently spell. She not only picked up three wickets but also bowled 11 dots out of his 20 deliveries. She conceded only 14 runs in her quota. 

This effort was the prime reason behind the Superchargers restricting the Rockets to 123/5 in 100 balls.
