The Northern Superchargers women are taking on the Trent Rockets in the fourth match of the Women's Hundred 2024. This match is being played at the Headingley in Leeds.

The Trent Rockets won the toss in this match and opted to bat first. Grace Scrivens and Bryony Smith gave a good start to the Rockets. The duo was cruising on nicely as Scriven in particular was looking to take the attack to the bowlers.

However, the Northern Superchargers made a comeback with the fall of Scrivens. After this the Superchargers were able to slow down the progress of the Rockets. 

The bowlers understood the essence of the wicket and started hitting the deck and using their variations. Although, Nat Sciver-Brunt kept the innings going from one end, she did not get much support.

It was Annabel Sutherland's brilliant efforts with the ball that went a long way in brining the Superchargers back into the match. The Aussie all-rounder picked up three wickets for 14 runs in her 20 balls.

The experienced English pacer, Kate Cross was seen putting her all in on the field. She bowled pretty efficiently with the ball, although he did not get a wicket. Besides her bowling, Cross also caught the eyes of the spectators with her brilliant fielding effort. She was seen putting in a super human effort at mid-off, that reminded many of the legendary South African fielder, Jonty Rhodes.
