Abhishek Sharma has been in some great hitting form in IPL 2024 and has hit sixes for fun. He has scored his runs at a strike rate of over 200 but has not been able to convert his swashbuckling starts into a big score. The same thing happened in the game against RR, where he hit a massive six but ended up losing his wicket in the fifth over.

The six he hit though spoke a lot about the talent of Abhishek Sharma as he danced down the track with great audacity and pumped experienced Ravi Ashwin straight down the ground on the second tier at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad.

It was his 28th six in 9 innings and the man surely has all the skills to make it big in his career. However, he needs to work on converting his starts into a big score, and once he start doing that, we might see him reaching greater heights.
