In the ongoing 2nd T20I between India and Zimbabwe at the Harare Sports Club, India are in the driver's seat courtesy of Abhishek Sharma. 

India won the toss and elected to bat first. The decision backfired as skipper Shubman Gill returned to the pavilion early. However, Abhishek and Ruturaj Gaikwad took the responsibility on their shoulders and stitched an unbeaten 90+ runs stand for the 2nd wicket.

Talking about Sharma, he scored a duck on his India debut but bounced back strongly and brought up his first international fifty in the ongoing game. The southpaw reached his fifty in style as he smashed a six that landed on the roof of Harare Sports Club. 

On the 3rd ball of the 11th over, Sharma smashed Dion Myers for a massive six, following which the umpires had to call for a new ball.

Abhishek was 27 of 23 when Masakazka dropped Sharma's catch. Talking about the ongoing game, Sharma collected 28 runs off Myers' over. At the time of writing this article, India are 116/1 after 12.1 overs.
