Australia and West Indies went up against each other in the second T20I of the three-match T20I series at the Adelaide Oval. The Aussies piled up a huge first innings total, setting base for another win.

Australia called their Aaron Hardie to the field for his exceptional fielding skills. The player didn’t fail to impress the squad as he took a magnificent catch to dismiss the West Indies all-rounder Nicholas Pooran in the last over of the power play for 18 runs, as Spencer Johnson got his first wicket of the game.

Hardie’s catch was a great boost to the Australian team as Puran had smashed three back-to-back brutal sixes in the fourth over.

In the game, West Indies won the toss and chose to bowl first in a hope to dismiss the Aussies squad for a low score. However, the Caribbean squad’s plans were brutally thrashed by the rat of Glenn Maxwell as he stepped in the field with a mood to score a magnificent century yet again in the shortest format.

Australia gave West Indies a humongous target of 242 runs to chase within the 20 overs as Glenn Maxwell smashed unbeaten 120. Australia continued to maintain the momentum as they got their first wicket in the match in the second over.

West Indies did score their runs quickly but kept losing wickets at regular intervals as they lost the game by 34 runs, giving Australia an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the three-match series.
