T20 matches are always filled with excitement and thrill, with actions dashing in every second of the match. Double the intensity and T10 cricket serves action that keeps the audience always on the edge of their seats.

The 3rd match of the Lanka T10 League was filled with somewhat the same action where Jeffrey Vandersay's over in Galle Marvels vs Kandy Bolts match seemed more like a highlight clip. Sri Lanka veteran Dinesh Chandimal, after hitting a boundary and three powerful sixes consecutively, was shown the path to the pavilion as fate had the last laugh.

Vandersay's Revenge: Castles Chandimal After Six-Hitting Onslaught

In the second ball of the seventh over Galle Marvels' Jefferey Vandersay was whacked for a six in the deep mid-wicket which brought up Dinesh Chandimal's half-century. The next full-length delivery was hammered for a six in the long-on region. The next ball, which pitched far off from the stumps was knocked over the deep cover for a flat six.

Chandimal was standing at a promising 66 runs with the crowd expecting another whacker from the in-form batter. However, Vandersay had his fair share of beatings and ended up knocking the bails of Chandimal. With a googly pitched on the middle and off, Dinesh attempted a slog towards the onside but missed it. That toppled the stumps as Vandersay had his sweet revenge.

Galle Marvels Dominates Kandy Bolts With 7-Wicket Win

Besides Chandimal's firepower, the match was filled to the brim with action. Winning the toss, GM chose to bowl and successfully restricted KB to a decent total of 100 runs. From KB's side, the only firepower came from Chandimal's bat. Binura Fernando from GM's camp was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3-9. Maheesh Theekshana also chipped in with one crucial wicket besides Jeffrey.

Speaking of Marvels' innings, it was a comfortable chase from the Theekshana-led side as Alex Hales and Andre Fletcher powered their innings to a close. Shakib Al Hasan also contributed with his 20 off 8 as the Marvels chased the target within 7.4 overs. Only Imad Wasim from Bolts was able to dent GM's batting lineup as he had two scalps while conceding 21 runs.
