Keeping the domination alive, Kruger sent Ian Bell on a duck. After that, Eion Morgan and Tim Ambrose’s partnership turned the tide.

After Morgan’s dismissal on 36 runs, Ambrose dazzled with a half-century and played a knock of 53 runs in 45 balls. Bresnan added 11 runs. Tremlett’s blistering unbeaten 19 off just 4 balls provided the late fireworks. Chris Schofield stayed unbeaten with a steady 20, helping the team post a competitive total of 157 runs.
