Rovman Powell is the West Indian T20I skipper and has the ability to destroy bowling attacks when he is in full flow. He has been bought by Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL 2025 mega auction and in the ILT20, he is representing Dubai Capitals.

In the eighth match of the season against Sharjah Warriorz, the Caribbean star unleashed his power and played a brilliant cameo of 28 from just 15 balls. He hit three sixes in his knock and two of them came in the one over from Karim Janat where Powell hit him for one four along with those two maximums.

Powell Unleashes Power In Sharjah

It was the 18th over of the first innings and  Karim Janat bowled it full and around off. Rovman Powell went for a big hit and powered it over long off for a maximum. The second ball was a length one and Powell heaved it wide of long on. Jason Roy there made a mess of it and the ball ran towards the fence.

The next ball was a dot and the fourth delivery was again in the slot, full on off and Powell effortlessly hammered it over long on for a sixer.

His breezy knock took Dubai Capitals over 200 and helped his side gain advantage at the halfway mark against Sharjah Warriorz. However, Dubai need to bowl well to keep things in control as the pitch is quite flat and short boundaries make it easy for the batters to get big scores.
