Riyan Parag is going through a breakthrough IPL season and has shown great consistency and temperament in varied situations. In the 31st match of IPL 2024, he once again joined the party with a brilliant counter-attack after RR lost two early wickets against KKR. Buttler too at the other end, is showing his might and is looking determined after missing the last game.

The duo hit 23 runs in the last over of the Powerplay against Vaibhav Arora and powered RR to 76 at the end of the Powerplay. The first boundary of the over was a flick shot that raced away towards the backward square leg fence while the first six of the over came off the bat of Buttler when he blasted Free-Hit over long on.

On the 5th ball of the over, Riyan Parag showed his class yet again and tonked a slot delivery over long on for a massive six. The final ball was drilled away through the extra cover region as Arora delivered an overpitched delivery, around off.

Riyan Parag though, could not carry on and Harshit Rana got the better of RR number 4, with a brilliant slower delivery in the 8th over.
