When it comes to batting in cricket, there will seldom be a discussion without the Greatest Ever, Sachin Tendulkar. His shots, ability to thrash the best bowlers in the world, and dedication to the game make the Indian batter the 'God' of Cricket.

In the ongoing edition of the International Masters League, Sachin Tendulkar once more gave a testament to his batting greatness. The former Indian international thrashed Ben Hilfenhaus and brought back memories of the 1998 Coca-Cola Cup, where he made a meal of the Australian bowlers in two consecutive matches and won the tournament for India single-handedly.

Notably, Australia posted a massive total of 269 runs while batting first in the game. In order to chase down the target, the Indian Masters needed to be aggressive from the very first ball, and that is precisely how Sachin provided the start to them.

In the third over, Sachin Tendulkar took the attack on Ben Hilfenhaus and played shots that had class written all over them. On the third delivery of the over, he played his trademark straight drive for a boundary. Sachin followed this by stepping down the crease and lofting the bowler over long-off for a gorgeous maximum. This was followed by a hook shot off the back foot over the deep square leg fence.

The three shots were evidence of the class Sachin has even 12 years after his retirement. Some great players may be gracing the game now and would do the same in the future, but Tendulkar showed he is, was and will remain an institution.
