Josh Brown is fast developing his stature as one of the fiercest hitters of the cricket ball. His power and ability to get going from the ball one has stood out in the last year or so and after BBL, he is now weaving his magic in Max60 Caribbean. 

In the final of the tournament, he came out all guns blazing and blasted 60 off just 18 balls which included 26 in the first over of the game against Isuru Udana who has played for Sri Lanka and RCB in the past.

The first ball of the match was a good one where Josh Brown got an outside edge off a length delivery. The ball went right of the wicketkeeper who could not grab it and the ball raced away for a boundary. The second delivery was a full one on the pads and Brown flicked it effortlessly over deep square leg for a maximum.

The third ball was a a four as Brown lifted a full delivery over mid off with his usual flair and power. The next ball was a dot to give some respite to the bowler, but the next ball was a slower fullish delivery that was pumped over wide long on for a maximum.

The final ball was again in the slot, a fullish delivery outside off which was hammered down the ground for a six. 

He bagged 26 from the first over and his power-show ensured that Caribbean Tigers get to a massive total of 125 and now New York Strikers need to show similar intent in the second innings to lift the title in this inaugural edition of this exciting tournament.
