New Zealand and Uganda are playing against each other in the 32nd match of the T20 World Cup 2024. This match is being played at the Biran Lara Satdium in Tarouba, Trinidad. 

New Zealand have won the toss in the game and have opted to bowl first. Although this match bears little significance to their fate in the tournament, the Kiwis are fighting for their pride in this game. 

Kane Williamson, the skipper of the New Zealand handed over the new ball to Trent Boult and he did what he does the best - pick up wickets in the first over and give is team a blazing start.

Boult bowls a magical first over against Uganda

Trent Boult is known for his lethal first overs with the new ball and he did not fail to deliver against Uganda. The left-arm pacer was searching for swing from the very first ball while hitting the full length. On third ball of the first over Boult bowled a lethal out swing to Simon Ssesazi. The batter failed to bring his bat down in time and was hit on the stumps dead in front of the stumps. 

He followed this up with another great delivery to the right-handed Robinson Obuya. He bowled a spearing in-swinger to him and found the gap between bat and the pad. As the ball clattered into the wood work behind the batter, Uganda were left awe struck by the craftsmanship of Boult.
