South Africa and Nepal are playing against each other in the 31st match of the T20 World Cup 2024 at the Arnos Vale Stadium in Kingstown. 

Nepal won the toss in the game and invited South Africa to bat first. The Proteas have played good cricket in the tournament and have won all the tree games so far. However, their batting has not yet fired and that has been one of the biggest woes for the team.

The South African management would have hoped that their batting gets back on track in this match and that starts with a solid show by the opening pair. However that did not happen as Quinton de Kock was send packing early by the star Nepal all-rounder, Dipendra Singh Airee.

On the fourth delivery of the fourth over, Airee tossed up the ball around the off stump line. De Kock was looking to play the ball down the ground but he ended up playing with hard hands and the ball landed in the safe hands of the bowler ending QDK's stay in the middle. 



This stretched the poor batting form of Quinton de Kock. Notable in the four innings in this tournament de Kock has scored - 20 (27), 0 (0), 18 (11), and 10 (11). The management will be worried with his form moving into the Super Eight stage of the tournament.
