South Africa are against Nepal in the 31st match of the T20 World Cup 2024. This game is being played at the Arnos Vale Stadium in Kingstown.

The Nepal skipper, Rohit Paudel has won the toss and has decided to field first. After their defeat against the Netherlands, Nepal will be in action after about a week. 

The big news from the Nepal campaign is that their star leg spinner Sandeep Lamichhane will be playing in this game. All the problems with visa and permission of playing is sorted and he can feature for the team. Lamichhane has replaced Sagar Dhakal from the team that played against the Netherlands.

South African skipper, Aiden Markram was happy to bat first. The team will be looking to improve on their batting before the start of the Super Eight stage. The Proteas need players like Quinton de Kock, Aiden Markram, and Heinrich Klaasen to find their rhythm before the Super Eights go ahead.

As far as changes are considered, South Africa have included their left-arm wrist spinner, Tabraiz Shamsi into the team in place of Keshav Maharaj.
