UP Warriorz's Grace Harris has done a record-breaking job in the just concluded game against Delhi Capitals Women in the ongoing WPL 2025. The Australian all-rounder became the third player in WPL history to pick a hat trick.

Grace Harris Joins Record Books With A Hattrick

In the recently concluded match between UP Warriorz Women and Delhi Capitals Women, the former prevailed by 33 runs as they defended 177 runs put on the board. Star of the show was the Australian Grace Harris, who picked a scintillating hat trick in the final over to wrap up the Capitals' batting lineup for just 144. The Delhi-based side were 144 for 7 by the end of the 19th over, with Niki Prasad still at the crease.

However, the off-spinner Grace Harris came in and picked three out of three to rock the Capitals as they were eventually bowled out with three deliveries to spare. After Prasad, who was caught by Chinelle Henry, Arundhati Reddy was the second one to be dismissed, scoring a golden duck before Minnu Mani, who was caught on the hat trick delivery by Harris herself.

With this, she became the third player in WPL history to pick a hat trick, with the other two being Issy Wong and Deepti Sharma in 2023 and 2024, respectively.

UP Warriorz Earn First Points On The Board

Talking about the game, the UP Warriorz side were asked to bat first by the Capitals, as they mustered 177 on the board courtesy of Chinelle Henry's unbelievable 62-run knock off just 23 deliveries with two fours and eight sixes to her name.

In reply, the Capitals lost wickets in the middle as Kranti Gold, supported well by Harris, picked up four apiece to wrap up the opposition for just 144, handing Warriorz their maiden victory of the season by 33 runs.
