Former Indian captain Virat Kohli is unstoppable in 2023, achieving milestone after milestone. During the Asia Cup 2023 Super 4 game against Pakistan, Kohli reached the milestone of 1000 international runs in the ongoing year, marking another remarkable achievement.

From the moment he stepped onto the field on the reserve day, Virat Kohli was in sublime form, continuing the game from where it had been halted due to rain. He concluded with an impressive unbeaten score of 122 runs from 94 balls, featuring nine boundaries and three sixes.

KL Rahul, displaying excellent form on Sunday, also carried that momentum into the reserve day by completing a well-deserved century in 100 balls on his comeback. The duo put an unbeaten 233-run partnership for the third wicket to help India post the mammoth total of 356 runs on the board.

Meanwhile, it was Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill who ignited the proceedings with a blazing start, crafting a magnificent partnership of 121 runs for the opening wicket that completely neutralized the challenge posed by Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah with the new ball.

The 34-year-old had previously notched up a total of six centuries in the year 2023, which included two in the IPL and two against Sri Lanka in ODIs back in March. The century against Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2023 Super 4 encounter marks his 77th international century.
