Amelia Kerr dazzles with a fifer
UP Warriorz Women were poised to finish on a high until Amelia Kerr pressed brakes. She claimed the entire middle order of UP to pick as many as five wickets. Her first victim was Kiran Navgire before she dismissed dangerous batter Deepti Sharma on 27 off 25 balls.
Kerr got rid of Vrinda Dinesh and Chinelle Henry in a single over to reduce UP Women to 120/5. UP Warriorz couldn’t recover from Amelia Kerr’s sensational five-wicket-haul and finished with a below-par total of 150 runs at the end of the first 20 overs.
Hayley Matthews’ charges for Mumbai in the chase

The duo blasted some powerful shots to ensure the required run rate stayed under control. Opener Matthews struck a half-century and placed Mumbai in a comfortable winning position.
Mumbai Indians cruise through comfortable victory
While Hayley Matthews got dismissed on 68 off 46 balls, Mumbai Indians needed only 20 odd runs to win when she walked back to the dressing room.
Though Grace Harris picked two crucial wickets for Nat Sciver-Brunt and Harmanpreet Kaur, those breakthroughs weren’t enough to restrict Mumbai. Yastika Bhatia hit the winning runs to wrap up the chase in 18.3 overs and power Mumbai Indians Women to a dominating 6-wicket win.
