Travis Head was phenomenal with the bat in the second innings of the Ashes opener at Perth. Head played a blinder of an innings to score 123 off 83 balls as Australia wrapped up the game inside Day 2.

The visitors, England, were perhaps helpless in front of a ravishing Travis Head attack that helped the hosts script the victory. Head incessantly bagged a ton from just 69 balls on a deteriorating Perth pitch that saw 19 wickets fall on the first day of the test.

After the first day saw early collapses from both the visitors and the hosts, orchestrated by Mitchell Starc's 7-fer and Ben Stokes' 5-fer, the Day 2 pitch improved by a margin as England gave a target of 205 to Australia, and it was made child's play as Head paired with Marnus Labuschagne and Jake Weatherald to end the game in just 28.2 overs.
