London Spirit Women were impressive in the tournament's first season but had a horrible second appearance as they finished second last in the 2022 edition. They will try to change things around and return to their best ahead of their first game of the 2023 season.

They have aligned a fantastic squad, covering almost all the departments. Australia's hard-hitting batter Grace Harris and Indian rising keeper-batter Richa Ghosh are the two new significant additions to their batting, including Amelia Kerr and skipper Heather Knight.

Sarah Glenn is another new addition which will be a massive boost to their spin attack alongside Charlie Dean and Kerr. Overall, they have a solid squad on paper that can prove to be a team to beat right from the tournament's first week.

On the other hand, Oval Invincibles will be looking to continue their trophy hunt, eyeing a third Hundred Women title in a row. They have been a team to beat right from the inaugural season in 2021, and there is no doubt it will be no different this time.

The Invincibles have retained most of their players from last year, including Kiwi legend Suzie Bates, skipper Dane van Niekerk, 18-year-old superstar Alice Capsey and South African all-rounder Marizanne Kapp.

The Invincibles got the better of London Spirits in a one-sided affair at Lord's last year. They will hope to do the same and sustain their dominating nature right from the first match of the new season.
