On Thursday, England and Australia will lock horns with each other in the fifth Test match of the ongoing Ashes series. The high-voltage face-off is scheduled at the historic Kennington Oval in London. The series has witnessed an intriguing battle between the two teams, with Australia leading by 2-1. While the visitors secured thrilling wins in the first two Tests, the hosts bounced back remarkably at Headingley before persistent rain resulted in a draw in the recently held fourth Test at Old Trafford.

So, as both teams gear up for another cracking contest, let's see what Oval's weather forecast says for the game.

Kennington Oval, London Weather Forecast

The fourth Test in Manchester saw Australia escape an inevitable defeat, thanks to a persistent downpour on the fifth day. Now, as England seem determined to make the scoreline two-all, inclement weather is set to play spoilsport, as the final Test is expected to be a rain-curtailed affair.

Although the second and fourth days will see a clear sky greeting the fans at the Oval, the first, third and fifth days are likely to witness significant rainfall, with the chances of precipitation reading around 70-80 per cent. The game could also see a delayed start due to the same reason.

Therefore, we don't see the game being full-fledged at the Oval in London. So, in all likelihood, Australia, who have already retained the Ashes urn, will end up as the series winners by a 2-1 margin.
