India

India are in red form in this tournament. They have had a few close games, but performed under pressure and even snatched victories from the jaws of defeat as seen against Pakistan. However, there are a few areas where India would look to work before the crucial game against England. 

Virat Kohli's form is a matter of concern as he has registered two ducks so far in the tournament. Lack of power hitting in the lower-middle order is also a worry as Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel have failed to accelerate according to the situation. 

In the bowling, Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh, and Kuldeep Yadav are in top form but India would also want more from their fourth and fifth bowling option.

England

Jos Buttler returned to form with a brilliant fifty-plus knock against the USA. Although, Phil Salt's form has declined a bit recently. The middle-order needs to fire for England, as they even failed to seal a win against South Africa. However, Harry Brooks is in good touch. 

In the bowling, Chris Jordan stunned the world when he took a hat trick against the USA. So, he would be high on confidence. Further, India must be wary of the threat that Jofra Archer can impose. England's spin department is also doing fine with Adil Rashid taking wickets regularly and Liam Livingstone assisting him.
