On Sunday, September 28, India will lock horns against Pakistan for the Asia Cup 2025 final. The two teams will square off for the third time in this edition as the Men in Blue have already registered two wins against their arch-rivals.
Ahead of the much-awaited final, eyes are on Suryakumar Yadav as the India skipper is struggling for runs. In the ongoing edition, the 35-year-old has amassed just 71 runs in six innings. The right-handed batter is under a lot of pressure as he doesn't boast a great record against Pakistan.
Suryakumar Yadav spotted with special bat in training
The last time these two teams met in the Asia Cup 2025 was a week ago, when the Men in Blue beat Pakistan comfortably, but SKY had registered a duck.
The pressure is mounting on SKY's head to score some runs with the bat. Talk about the bat, and the visuals of Surya's latest bat is doing rounds on the internet.
Ahead of the Indo-Pak match, SKY was spotted practising with a bat which featured Sachin Tendulkar's signature on it and a special message which read, "Change What's Possible".
SKY and his affection for the Master Blaster
SKY idolises Sachin Tendulkar and has often rated the master blaster as his favourite cricketer and idol growing up. Further, having a bat with Sachin's signature is likely to give SKY a morale boost ahead of the Pakistan match.
SKY got to meet his idol during Mumbai Indians days, where he also shared a dressing room spot with the legendary Indian cricketer. Since then, the 35-year-old has been in awe of the master blaster and hopes to make his idol proud by helping India to clinch Asia Cup title.
