It is fair to say that Steve Smith is back in form and back amongst the scoring charts as the Indian bowlers allowed him to score a terrific hundred in the Gabba Test. The veteran batter struggled for runs in the first two Tests, but has now scored his 33rd Test century.
The ongoing Border-Gavaskar Series has been tough for the Aussie star as Jasprit Bumrah has found his weakness time and again. However, on Day 2, Smith came out with a positive mindset and scored a 185 ball hundred to push India out of the game.
India, is one of his favourite Test opponent and he has slammed truckloads of tons against them. But how many centuries does he actually has against India?.

Smith loves playing against India and they are one of his favourite opponents. The love affair started in 2014 and has continued till date. In the 2014-15 tour, he scored 4 Test tons and won the Player of the Series award.
In the feisty 2017 away tour of India, Smith once again rose above the Ashes and on tricky wickets slammed three tons. In 2021, he had a solitary century and India's nemesis once again haunted them during the 2023 WTC finals, when he, alongside Travis Head punished India with scintillating tons.
The latest edition in the century list comes in the ongoing Test match as he blasted a memorable ton to push India out of the contest. However, just after breaching the century mark, Jasprit Bumrah got his prized wicket for a well-compiled 101.
