Australian players are known for using harsh words against their opposition without filtering it out and it was at full display in the ongoing Test match against India at the Gabba. Former cricketer, Simon Katich didn't hold back while criticising Rohit Sharma and Mohammed Siraj.

Siraj has been on the radar of the Australian team ever since his verbal spat with Travis Head in the Adelaide Test. Since then, the former players have criticised him and the crowd also went after him on Day 1.

However, on Day 2, Katich crossed the line when he referred to Rohit and Siraj as 'dumb' for not placing a fielder at third man for Travis Head. In one of the overs delivered by Siraj, Rohit had placed a third man as Siraj would have looked to threaten Head with short-pitched stuff. However, the Indian seamer went against the plan and didn't attempt a single bouncer.

In his next over, Rohit Sharma decided not to place a third man, and to everyone's surprise, Siraj bowled a bouncer and Head easily dispatched it towards the third man region for a boundary. After which, Katich made the remark, stating that "That is dumb. Dumb cricket!". He added that in the previous over, there was a third man, but suddenly Rohit decided not to have one there.

Travis Head has once again tormented the Indian side in the series. Time and again, the Indian bowlers have found ways to dismiss the top-order, but they fail to execute their plans against Head, who is closing in on his succesive Test tons Vs India.

Ironically, prior to this Test, he had three scores of golden ducks at the Gabba, but he found his mojo back against his favourite Indian side as Australia continue to dominate.
