DC lost their first match at the hands of LSG [iplt20.com]
Delhi Capitals' 'director of cricket' Sourav Ganguly has backed the David Warner-led outfit to make a strong comeback after a 50-run drubbing they suffered at the hands of the Lucknow Super Giants in their IPL 2023 campaign opener last week.
The Capitals will take on defending champions Gujarat Titans at their home venue on Tuesday (April 04), where they'd hope to right the wrongs of the last week.

The unavailability of the express pace of Anrich Nortje hampered Delhi big time in the last match as the like of Chetan Sakariya were taken to the cleaners by the Lucknow batters.
With both Nortje and Lungi Ngidi available for selection for Tuesday's game, Ganguly is confident that the Capitals' will put up a better show.
Here's what Sourav Ganguly told DC website:
"Anrich Nortje is here, but we haven't picked the team yet. Khaleel and Mukesh bowled well against Lucknow. Sakariya bowled well in his first two overs but went for a few runs in his last two, which can happen in T20 cricket. We have the required attack, hopefully, we'll be fine against Gujarat."
Will Axar get a promotion in the batting order? Sourav Ganguly answers
Axar Patel's batting position has been a huge talking point in the past few months.
Axar has been in the form of his life in all three formats of the game recently, but the team-management- whether its India's or now DC's- have been reluctant to send him up the order.
In the last game, as Delhi's middle-order crumbled, Patel was once again left to salvage the ruins after coming to the crease @ 8, with barely anything left in the game.
When asked about a possible promotion in the batting-order for Axar, Ganguly said:
"We have discussed about Axar's batting position and hopefully, he will bat higher in the order. He has batted exceptionally well for India in the recent past. He got a lot of runs against Australia in the Test series on difficult wickets and hopefully, he can score runs for us."
Delhi will also hope their captain David Warner shrugs of a poor performance with the bat from the last game, and lead his troops from the front like he has in the past.
