A maiden ODI century from Aiden Markram (175) and a five-for from Sisanda Magala (5/43) headlined South Africa's commanding 146-run win in the final game of the three-match series against the Netherlands in Johannesburg on Sunday.

On a day where the entire Wanderers stadium was painted in Pink, Markram whetted the appetite of home fans with a blistering 175 (off 126 deliveries) to lead the charge for the Proteas in a must-win game.

Having been put into bat, the home side got off to a poor start as Vivian Kingma exploited the early movement to remove Quinton de Kock (8 off 19) and the in-form Temba Bavuma for a 12-ball 6.

Markram and Rassie van der Dussen (25 off 40) lended stability to the fledgeling innings with a 62-run stand in just over 11 overs.

Dussen was eventually dismissed by Aryan Dutt but Markram ensured he didn't give it away. The right-hander, along with the evergreen David Miller (91 off 61), proceeded to launch a stunning assault on the Dutch bowlers during the course of the next 20 overs.

Markram brought up his maiden ODI ton, and then kicked on to convert it into a daddy ton, as he and Miller went on a leather smashing spree, adding 199 runs in the next 20 overs.

Both were eventually dismissed within a space of 2 runs, but by then, they had ensured that South Africa were on their way to a huge total.

Amid the carnage, left-arm seamer Fred Klaassen (2/41) was the pick of the bowlers.

Sisanda Magala's 5-for led South Africa's charge with the ball

Chasing 371, the Netherlands lost opener Vikramjit Singh (21 off 18) early, but Max O'Dowd (47 off 49) and Musa Ahmed (61 off 69) kept them in the hunt with some enterprising strokeplay.

The duo went on to add 85 runs for the 2nd wicket in just over 15 overs before Sisanda Magala once again put the breaks on by knocking over O'Dowd.

Magala then proceeded to kick start a procession, which saw the Dutch go from 108/2 to 224 all-out. Aiden Markram also chipped in with a couple of wickets.

Magala finished with a five-wicket haul as SA bagged a crucial 10 points in the ODI Super League and a 3-0 clean sweep.
