New Zealand have won the toss in a crucial Women's World Cup game against Bangladesh and have decided to bat first. The White Ferns have lost their initial two matches and have made one change with Rosemary Mair coming in place of Bree Illing.
Bangladesh, on the other hand, have made two changes after their loss to England with MST Sumaiya Akhter and Nishita Akter Nishi coming into the XI. They started off the tournament with a win against Pakistan and did well with the ball against England too, so would be confident of their chances in this game.

BAN vs NZ: Women's talk
Sophie Devine (New Zealand Women Captain): "We are going to bat first. It's a used wicket. We just want first crack on it. It is hard when there's only been a couple of games played here to really dig into the conditions. We back ourselves to put a total on the board and then pressure on Bangladesh. There's a still a lot of things that have gone right for us. It's just being able to execute that for longer periods of time. For us it's about making sure that when we get a partnership together, it's going to be a match winning one and making sure that we really took it over the edge and then with the ball, it's just been consistent staying on the stumps. It's going to be the theme for most of the teams during this World Cup. It's simple things but doing it for longer periods of time. Just one change. Rosemary Mair comes back in for Bree Illing. No left arm pace today."
Nigar Sultana (Bangladesh Women Captain): "I think we are okay to bowl first because our bowlers are doing good in the last few games. We want to give them the freedom. This is a very good opportunity for us. We have to do all the things that we have been doing in the last few games. We know we have the potential to win today. We have 2 changes. Sumaiya and Nishita come into the side."
