In a significant development, Jasprit Bumrah has become the first fast bowler from India to play 50 matches in all three formats -Tests, ODIs, and T20Is. The star pacer reached this milestone during the ongoing second Test match against the West Indies at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on October 10, 2025.
Bumrah joins Dhoni, Kohli, and Rohit in elite club
It is important to mention that before Bumrah, the other cricketers who had played 50 or more matches in all three formats include - MS Dhoni (who was the first to achieve this feat), Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, and KL Rahul. However, Bumrah is the first Indian fast bowler to do so.
