In a remarkable achievement, stylish left-handed batter Smriti Mandhana smashed a flamboyant hundred in the all-important final of the ongoing Women's Tri-Series. Opening the batting for India Women, Mandhana struck a blistering century, helping India claim the driving seat in this match.
Smriti Mandhana Punishes SL-W With Sensational Hundred
After winning the toss, India Women's captain Harmanpreet Kaur opted to bat first in the crucial face-off against Sri Lanka Women. Although the visitors had a solid start, the Lankans eventually fought back, dismissing the in-form Pratika Rawal for 30 runs.
However, Smriti Mandhana continued her onslaught on the Sri Lankan bowlers, bringing up a fabulous century in the match.
This is her eleventh ton in Women's ODIs, as she became only the second Indian Women's batter to score a century against Sri Lanka.

Riding on Smriti Mandhana's century and a fine cameo by Harleen Deol, India Women have breached the 200-run mark in the ongoing final against Sri Lanka Women. Mandhana was dismissed for 116 runs soon after completing her century.
After the opener's departure, skipper Harmanpreet Kaur joined Harleen Deol in the middle. As of writing, India Women were 204 for two, with Deol and Kaur batting on 42* and 8*, respectively.
