The Sri Lanka skipper remained unbeaten on 119 (69), which featured 14 fours and seven sixes. Notably, her 119 runs knock is also her highest individual score in T20Is.

Chamari broke Mithali Raj's record of 97* vs Malaysia in 2018, which was the previous highest individual score in the T20I Asia Cup.

Overall, Chamari scored her 3rd T20I century and also became the first player from a full-member nation to score multiple T20I centuries in a calendar year.

It is a record-breaking season in this Asia Cup, as India women too shattered several records when they faced UAE women on Sunday, July 21. Notably, the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side put 201/5 on the board, their highest ever total in T20I history.

Talking about Sri Lanka women, they won their opening game against Bangladesh and eyeing two wins in two games.
